December 2017 SUNDAY SCHOOL is offered during the school year for children and youth every Sunday during the worship service. Youth convene downstairs at 10:00 a.m. and then gather in the sanctuary for the youth sermon during the service. Classes then begin downstairs around 10:15 a.m. Webster uses the Shine, "Living in God's Light," curriculum. On the first Sunday of every month youth assist in the service, acting as greeter/usher, acolyte, and lector. Older youth stay for the entire service on the first Sunday of the month. Nursery care is available for children 0-5 years every Sunday. Note: Sunday school is not in session Dec. 24 & Dec. 31; classes resume Jan. 7, 2018.

December 2017 SHEPHERDING THE LIGHT ADVENT GATHERING Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. A time for readings, reflections, songs and candlelight. A special presentation on Dec. 18 "Tis the Season in Story & Song."

December 2017 SPOTLIGHT ON FAITH meets every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Conference Room. This is a special time of sharing, prayer, and support. The group, led by Pastor Marcia, discusses the scripture reading for the upcoming Sunday. Readings for December: 12/6 Mark 1:1-8; 12/20 Luke 1:26-38; 12/27 Luke 2:22-40. Note: Spotlight does not meet Wednesday, Dec. 13.

December 2017 CHOIR The Chime and Chancel choirs rehearse on Wednesday evenings. Chime choir rehearsal begins at 6:30 p.m., Chancel choir rehearsal begins at 7:30 p.m.

Dec 3 HANGING OF THE GREENS, 3:00 p.m. A tractor ride out to Scadin woods to cut the tree; cookie baking and ornament crafting downstairs, music and face painting; a light supper of soup and sandwiches; decorating the tree and singing Christmas carols in the sanctuary.

Dec 13  CHRISTMAS PAGEANT REHEARSAL, 5:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Dec 17  CHRISTMAS PAGEANT, "A Super Christmas" presented by Webster Youth during the worship service.

Dec 21  COUNCIL MEETING, 6:30 p.m. (Conference Room)

Dec 24  CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE, 7:00 p.m. Reflections, readings, songs and candlelight.
